Mini Golf

As a general rule, I dont like mini golf. But yesterday, the hubby and I went on a date . To Castle Fun Park. And we mini golfed. And it was actually kind of fun. I have been trying to figure out what was different about this experience . I think it is because this time I left my purse in the trunk of the car, so I didnt have to lug it around 18 holes. I think that is the worst part. I am still thinking this through though. And, we did the outside course. Outside is way better than dingy basement.

Im not sure about this new discovery: that I dont hate mini golf. I dont really like it or anything; but I dont hate it.

Boom! Roasted!

Today I am making my first roast. I know. 2 years and no roasts yet.

The problem is that I dont have a roasting pan. So I am going to improvise. I’ll keep you posted.

This reminds me of the time that Jen made Kraft Dinner in a roasting pan. Its the same, except opposite.

6 weeks

Our moving date is 6 weeks from tomorrow! This year (and the summer) is flying by so quickly! We are starting to pack up our spare bedroom/office and thinking about what to give away or try and sell. We are pretty excited for a new, fresh environment. Things here in Abbotsford are a lot different than they will be when we move to Kinneyland Bredesonland Vancouver. On the other hand, I am sad to be leaving behind family, some wonderful friends, and our first home.

It really feels like we are taking the right steps. Everything thus far has fallen nicely into place. More than nicely, even. So when I start to get anxious about my lack of employment after August 21, I try and remember that we are in God’s hands, and we are following Him. He has in the past provided the perfect employment at the perfect time, and that I will find something that will feed us. Right?

Right.
